Canvassing - talking with residents to find out their issue and how they intend to vote. You will be part of a team and given training and resources.

Lead a canvass session - you will lead a team of people. All resources and training will be provided. This is a good option for someone who is well-organised but does not want to knock on doors.

Phone canvassing - speaking to voters over the phone to find out local issues and voting intention. Training will be given and a Labour Party mobile phone will be provided. This is something you can do at home, in your own time.

Could you help get our message across by...

Taking on a leaflet round - this will involve delivering literature in your neighbourhood.

Stuffing envelopes - we always need people to stuff envelopes. You can do this from home and they can be delivered to and collected from you.

Distribution - if you have a vehicle, would you be willing to deliver bundles of leaflets for our street deliverers to distribute.

Having a Labour board in your garden - the local Labour team will come and put it up for you!

Displaying a Labour poster in your window.

Putting up garden boards - you'd be part of a team.

Storing garden boards between elections.

Polling day is one of the most important days in any campaign. Every Labour voter we can get to the ballot box could make a real difference. Could you help on polling day?

Would you be able to do telling? - Telling involves sitting outside the polling station, asking people for their polling numbers (not who they voted for!) Time commitment - 1-2 hrs on polling day between 7am and 9pm.

Would you be willing to knock up? - Knocking up is the main part of the operation to get out the vote on election day. You will be part of a big team. We only knock on doors of Labour members and supporters who have promised us their vote.

Help deliver our early morning polling day leaflet. These need to go through letterboxes before 7am, so you'd have to get posting by about 5:30.
