It was a pleasure to visit Adat Yeshua Messianic Synagogue and meet some of the dedicated volunteers who help run their weekly food bank, supporting members of the local community.
The Synagogue had been experiencing delays relating to Gift Aid tax rebate payments, which created significant financial pressures and uncertainty around the future of the food bank service. I was pleased that my office could assist in helping to resolve the matter and that the payments have now been released.
It was encouraging to hear about the positive impact the food bank is having locally and to hear about the commitment of the volunteers who give their time each week to support others.
