Today in Parliament I dropped in to an event being run by the EQUALD project, which is calling for Equal Access to Flexible Support Planning for Adults with Learning Disabilities.

I spoke to services users who were involved in this project. They are asking MPs to make the case in Parliament for Individual Service Funds to be rolled out more widely.

I heard about how the project is working with adults with learning disabilities, carers, social workers, academics, local authorities, care providers and anyone who is interested in people having maximum control over their own lives to develop resources to help more people use Individual Support Funds (ISFs) well.

Individual Service Funds (ISFs) are already being trialed in Norfolk.

Find out more about the EQUALD project.
