I have joined a group of MPs to write to the Foreign Secretary to raise our growing concern for the safety of the British citizens participating in the Global Sumud Flotilla aid mission to Gaza.

The safety and security of British citizens must be the primary concern of our government, and any actions that threaten them must be condemned.

We have asked the Foreign Secretary to relay to her Israeli counterparts, in the strongest possible terms, that no harm must come to the flotilla or the British citizens on board.
