I have joined other MPs to write to the Prime Minister calling for the UK government to provide assistance to students in Gaza who have secured places at UK universities.

We know that procedures already exist to evacuate students through safe routes, which has happened with nine Chevening scholars.

Every one of these students applied, met the requirements, and were offered a place. Many fundraised to ensure they could study. Now, they are being denied the chance to take up their place.
