I joined Labour colleagues in the Labour Friends of Palestine and the Middle, to write to the Foreign Secretary to call for:

• Recognition of the State of Palestine
• Continued support to UNWRA
• Securing the release of hostages
• The unhindered resumption of aid
• Review and place restrictions on trade with and financial support of illegal Israeli settlements in the West Bank
