I recently met with the Norwich branch of National Association of Probation Officers (NAPO).

They told me about how their members feel undervalued and overworked, and how recent changes in sentencing and the easing of the prison crisis has exacerbated this. Probation staff feel ‘unseen’ by the public and politicians.

I have joined the Justice Unions Parliamentary Group, to show my support for justice workers in Parliament and help their voices to be heard.
