The Planning and Infrastructure Bill is making its way through parliament. I have written to the Minister of Planning to support local conservation organisations calling for stronger protections for our natural environment, vital wildlife habitats, and chalk streams.

Most of the world’s chalk streams – approximately 85% – are located in England, with around 10% found in Norfolk, making the county globally significant for this rare habitat.
