I visited New Routes Integration in Norwich, an inspiring charity doing incredible work for refugees, asylum seekers, and migrants in the area.
I participated in one of their English language sessions, where participants were divided into groups based on their proficiency level. It was amazing to see how they are helping people improve their English and better understand and integrate into the community they now call home.
In addition to language support, New Routes runs weekly clubs and advice sessions, providing crucial guidance on health, benefits, housing, and employment skills and opportunities. It’s a safe space for people to gain the knowledge and confidence they need to navigate their new lives.
Grateful to have witnessed the positive difference this charity is making.
