Clive Lewis For Norwich South
Parliament has passed the Assisted Dying Bill. It was a very intense debate. I want to thank all the constituents who got in touch with me, both for and against.
I voted for the bill, knowing that there will now be a period of public consultation during which the public will be able to submit material to the bill committee – to the inquiry – to finalise what the bill looks like. And then there will be
another vote.
Watch this space for some sessions I’ll be putting on in the coming weeks and months so we can pick apart this bill much more than we currently have.
