Tonight in Parliament, I voted for the Passenger Railway Services (Public Ownership) Bill. This Bill brings us one step closer to bringing our rail services back under public control.
Returning rail where it belongs – in the hands of the people – is a great start to this Labour government. I look forward to supporting more legislation that returns power to the public.
