On Tuesday the 10th of September I am hosting, alongside water campaigners, a drop-in for MPs in Parliament to learn more about what’s happened to our water and to put their names to the campaign to end the sewage scandal.

I have been asking people to write to their MPs so that they can join the drop-in and be part of the fight to end our sewage crisis.

After years of bill hikes and our water system in crisis, it simply cannot be left, once again, to everyday people to pay for the failings of big corporations and ineffective regulators. It wasn’t ordinary people who decided to privatise water, we didn’t benefit from the bumper profits. But now we’re stuck with picking up the tab for failure.
