A statement by Clive Lewis MP on health care for transgender people:
“I’ve met young people who’ve been prescribed puberty blockers. Some told me they’d helped lift them from depression and probably saved their life. A blanket ban is wrong and not what the Cass Review recommended. Careful, clinical provision is the way forward, not this politicisation.”
