Today I met with Luke and Nathan from the University of East Anglia Students’ Union in Parliament.

I came to support Luke and Nathan during a session held by the All Party Parliamentary Group for Students on the Renters Reform Bill and the student housing crisis.

Following the session, Luke and Nathan explained to me that the RAAC concrete crisis has significantly disrupted student housing for UEA students, and emphasised the need for long-term planning when it comes to student housing.

I will continue to support UEA students in their campaigns for stronger protections for student renters.
