By getting people out of cars and onto public transport, local park-and-ride services slash pollution and carbon emissions.
As a result, the news that Norwich’s park and ride network could be cut back significantly is disappointing. As part of a thinly veiled threat to services, County Council Conservatives say “use it or lose it”, in regards to the Postwich Park and Ride site.
When green services like park-and-ride are cut, it is the future of our planet that loses out.
