Constituents have flooded my inbox about the desperate situation in Gaza.
The UK Government, on our behalf, should promote the protection of civilians in Gaza and Israel, and the upholding of International Humanitarian Law.
Given the scale of civilian deaths and displacement, I could not in good conscience vote for anything other than a ceasefire.
Either the principles humanitarianism apply to all, or they apply to none.
