This is really special, a fantastic practical example of how we can build energy efficient, affordable housing.

I spoke with Mike Sands about the construction of over 1000 new homes in his Ward of Bowthorpe, Norwich. Over 80% of these will be affordable homes for local people.

Not only are they affordable they are sustainable homes, fit for the 21st century to last into the 22nd.

When it’s finished, this scheme will have created many hundreds of affordable and social homes.
