There are clear solutions to the challenges we face – social, economic, and environmental. We need a retrofit revolution, an expansion of the windfall tax, and an investigation into the roll-out of a universal basic energy allowance, so that every year, when winter comes, everyone is warm. This is what a Green New Deal looks like.
