Global leaders at #COP26 must reckon with the fact that the very economic system that has caused the climate crisis in the first place will not deliver a fair and just climate transition.
That is why I Co-Founded Global Alliance for a Green New Deal and why today I have joined over 300 lawmakers from around the world to sign this Declaration for a #GreenNewDeal which calls for a rapid and just transition to an economy that operates within planetary boundaries and supports human flourishing.
