Norwich South is home to many English Language Teaching (ELT) schools. They are an important part of the fabric of our community, promoting our city in a positive light and offering a welcoming environment for students learning English.
This is an industry which has been consistently overlooked during the Covid-19 pandemic. So I have written to Robert Jenrick, the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities, and Local Government, calling for English language schools to be given the support they need, so they can get through the pandemic.
