I’ve written for the Independent today about how instead of taking responsibility for their failed Covid-19 strategy the Government is once again trying to blame the public for their mistakes.
They are pointing the finger at hard-hit communities, meanwhile Ministers are struggling to explain the delay for putting India on the red list. Given Boris Johnson was scheduled to visit India for trade talks, it is hard to not see this as the pursuit of a trade deal being treated as more important than the health of people in the UK.
