Yesterday I was on BBC Politics East to discuss, among many things, the upcoming Spending Review. I’m hoping to see the Government investing in the future productive capacity of this country and its people instead of sucking money out of the economy through cuts, because the economic argument for austerity has been lost.
The Government has a choice to make: cuts and austerity, or #BuildBackBetter. A greener, fairer, Britain is possible if the Government chooses to invest in our shared future.
