It is absolutely right that the ban remains in force, but this extension simply isn’t long enough. It just kicks the can to four weeks down the road. Hundreds of thousands of renters will still shorlty be at risk of homelessness.

The ban should not be lifted until the Government puts forward a credible plan to make sure no-one has to lose their home due to Covid-19.
