With Norwich School pupils, I have signed a letter describing the school’s response to accusations of racism as extremely disappointing and calling on the school to make ten changes to tackle racism.
It has been a privilege to be able to support these young people and their campaign against racism at this school and for justice.
The demands they are making of the school are pretty much the degree zero for any modern institution that is genuinely committed to anti racism and racial equality. I very much hope the school immediately begins to implement the students’ demands without delay or prevarication.
I will continue to support these young people in any way I can until they are happy that justice has been done.
