In this latest video update, I talk about the work I’ve been doing in Parliament during the Covid-19 pandemic – in particular as the Vice-Chair of the APPG (All Party Parliamentary Group) for coronavirus, which is pushing for a public inquiry into the handling of this crisis.
It’s clear mistakes have been made throughout the course of this pandemic, with more coming to light every day. We cannot afford for these mistakes to be repeated if a second wave, or another pandemic in the future, occurs. This cross-party group will begin collecting evidence and taking submissions as an initial focal point for scrutiny and discussion.
