Our trans siblings suffer hate and discrimination on a huge level, and Johnson’s plan to scrap changes to the Gender Recognition Act will only worsen this situation. Trans people deserve the same level of equality as everyone else.

I have written to the Government today (see letter below) to express my concerns at this move, and will be speaking to Labour colleagues about how to continue the fight for trans rights.
