This morning I met with a group of enthusiastic Journalism students from UEA in Parliament, alongside Labour’s wonderful deputy speaker Rosie Winterton, to talk about what life is like for an MP in Westminster.
I answered questions on issues from Labour’s Brexit policy; to the significance of Parliament declaring a climate emergency; to how we can stop the rise of right-wing extremism in politics; to whether First Past the Post is a fair and just voting system.
It was a pleasure to meet such an engaged group of students, and I hope to see many more people from Norwich South in Westminster soon!
