This week is National Apprenticeship Week (#NAW2019), and last night I was lucky enough to be able to attend University of East Anglia (UEA)‘s ‘Norfolk Apprenticeships – Innovating, Achieving and Celebrating’ event.
All in all, it was an inspiring evening and I heard some fantastic personal stories from currents and past apprentices about their placements have helped them develop as people – and from employers about how much their business or organisation has benefited from taking on apprentices.
The evening culminated with the presentation of the ‘Norfolk Apprentice of the Year’ award; big congratulations to Peter Savory who took home the prize this year, and to all the other finalists.
