Despite the rain, it was great to join local activists and Thorpe Hamlet Labour Party councillors Cavan Stewart and Chris Jones out on the #labourdoorstep over the weekend.

We were collecting signatures on the ‘Save our Children’s Centres’ petition; it’s hugely disappointing to hear that the motion to stop the deeply flawed consultation on these cuts fell on Monday morning because Norfolk Tories voted against it – but Labour will continue to fight this and make sure as many people in Norfolk as possible can have their say.
