Having visited Brennan Bank the week it was announced their cladding had failed post-Grenfell fire safety tests, I know how much concern and anxiety this news caused some residents.

The emergency services and housing association did everything they could to offer reassurances and review the necessary safety procedures in light of the results, but I hope the replacement of the cladding will put more minds at rest.
