This morning, I visited West Earlham Library for their ‘Maths Challenge’ event, which featured timed games, bingo and tricks. I didn’t win any, but had a great time taking part (I need to practice my subtraction!). What’s important is that the children had fun with numbers – events like these are really important to keep children’s interest in learning and maths up over the summer holidays.
In general, West Earlham Library is a gem of a local library, providing so many services for the local community. Thank you to everyone involved in running activities like this, and all the other much-loved services the library has to offer.
