I co-sponsored the Climate and Nature Bill

I have co-sponsored the Climate and Nature Bill, introduced by Alex Sobel MP in the Commons on the 21st of March.

The Bill has support from MPs of all main parties. It’s a plan for a new UK law that would ensure that we deliver a joined-up and science-led plan to get to the root causes of the climate and nature crises.

We need to make sure climate breakdown is front and centre of parliamentary business. I’m proud to support a Bill that sets the UK on the path to a zero-carbon, nature-positive future.

It is crucial to align our climate and nature laws in line with science and our international agreements so that we can deliver the climate action and cheaper bills that most of us want.
