Independent magazine The Lead has written an article about my attempt alongside Labour colleagues to board the Bibby Stockholm, and how we have been repeatedly denied permission.
I told The Lead that Human rights are either universal or they are lost completely.

With the suicide rate among asylum seekers having doubled in the past four years, something is clearly very wrong with the way we are treating people. The Bibby Stockholm barge is a symbol of that failure.
