It was really good to read Norwich City’s public statement about former sporting director Stuart Webber’s comments. 

It’s important to remember publicly speaking out against the comments isn’t about finger-pointing or shaming. 

Rather it’s about rejecting racial profiling – a process that reinforces racial stereotypes and discrimination. It also educates all of us about how racism manifests itself so easily in our thinking.
