I wrote to the Secretary of State for Business and Trade to raise concerns about Shell’s potential sale of its subsidiary in Nigeria, and what this means for this UK headquartered company’s responsibilities in the Niger Delta.

A precedent must not be set that companies based in the UK can lay waste to communities in the Global South and then just walk away.
