It is very concerning news that OneNorwich Practices, the company behind Rouen Road walk-in centre, has announced it is closing in the coming months due to financial turmoil.

Alice Macdonald and I have released the following joint statement:

“OneNorwich Practices provides vital health services across Norwich, including the walk-in centre, which must be protected.

Just this year, people in our city came together to make sure our walk-in centre stayed open. That must remain the case.

Staff and patients need to know exactly what this news will mean for them.

We will be urgently seeking reassurances from the Integrated Care Board (ICB) that a clear plan of action is in place so that people have the health services they need and there is clarity for staff over their jobs”.
