This week, ITV Anglia asked me what I think needs to be done to fix SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) provision in Norfolk.

I told them that whilst reform of SEND education is important, many of my constituents cannot afford to pay any more tax.

The reality is, there is money out there to spend on fixing our broken SEND provision, it’s called wealth. To fix the joined-up breakdown of our social infrastructure, we must adequately fund our public services.

That means those who have done very well over the past 15 years must pay more taxes on their wealth.
