Following the news that spy tech firm Palantir won a £27m government deal after an introduction from an ex-MI6 boss, openDemocracy asked for my comment.

I told them that “the military-industrial-espionage complex is wheedling its way into our public services and our economy.”

“We know that sunlight is the best disinfectant. The apparent lack of competition and due diligence in procurement must be immediately reviewed”.
