I have joined a cross-party group of MPs in signing Wendy Chamberlain MP’s letter to the Minister for Immigration on the resettlement of Afghan citizens.

Two years after the fall of Kabul, many Afghans are still waiting for the help promised to them by the British government.

We are calling on the Minister to increase the places available for resettlement under the Afghan Citizen’s Resettlement Scheme, along with ensuring that those under the scheme are reunited with their families in the UK where possible.

Afghans need our help now, I hope for a swift response from the Minister.
