As someone who grew up in a council home, I campaign in and out of parliament for the rights of those who live in them, along with the construction of more council housing.

That’s why I was so pleased to see, along the pathway I’ve walked down so many times, a water pump that provides heating and water to over 85 homes.

Barnard’s Yard pump has cut Carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 270 tonnes each year, estimated to save residents over £500,000 compared to gas across its lifespan.
