My speech in the debate regarding the Strikes (Minimum Service Levels) Bill
My speech in the debate regarding the Strikes (Minimum Service Levels) Bill

I voted against the Tories’ destructive Strikes (Minimum Service Levels) Bill today. I also spoke against the bill in the debate, raising my concerns on behalf of people in Norwich South.

Our right to strike is fundamental and non-negotiable. This new legislation isn’t about safety in public services, it’s the striking workers ensuring our services are safe for us to use.

Without these workers, we will have an education system where teachers will leave, a railway without safety precautions and a healthcare system run by Silicon Valley tech companies like Palantir.
