This week the Environmental Audit Committee held an inquiry session on the transition away from fossil fuels. I questioned the Minister for Climate Change on the permission given for further fossil fuel exploration and challenged him on these plans, given that this will jeopardise our ability to meet already weak Net Zero 2050 targets.
