Clive Lewis For Norwich South

This morning, I joined Britvic workers and GMB Union members on the picket line outside the Britvic Factory at Carrow Works. They’re fighting – not for their jobs, unfortunately, as they’re probably gone – but for a decent redundancy package. At the moment, Britvic are refusing to provide this, despite the massive dedication many of their staff have shown to the company and thir jobs over the years.
There will be 18 days of strike over the next six weeks: if you have the time to go along and stand in solidarity with the workers, please do. There was a positive reaction from passing people and traffic (as you can hear in the video!), and the more people who turn out the bigger the impact the picket will have.
