Muslims receive the highest number of recorded religious hate crimes in the UK.

Alongside Labour colleagues, I have submitted a letter to Minister Steve Reed to adopt a new definition of Anti-Muslim Hatred/Islamophobia for Islamophobia Awareness Month which begins tomorrow, 1st November.

We must do all we can to tackle hatred and bigotry in our communities.
