Clive Lewis For Norwich South

Striking workers will always have my full support. They’re on the public’s side, fighting against profiteering CEOs and practitioners of poverty pay.
Our right to strike is fundamental and non-negotiable. The Strikes (Minimum Service Levels) Act isn’t about safety in public services, it’s the striking workers ensuring our services are safe for us to use.
Without these workers, we will have an education system where teachers will leave, a railway without safety precautions and a healthcare system run by Silicon Valley tech companies like Palantir.
I welcome the news that the Government will repeal the Strikes Act. It’s time to deliver the working conditions we all deserve.
