I attended an event hosted by Amnesty International UK in support of human rights. 

I have long supported protecting and expanding universal human rights. I recently signed a pledge to support new legislation that ensures people and the planet are protected from human rights abuses and environmental destruction.

I will continue to be a strong voice inside and outside Parliament in pushing to protect our universal human rights.
