I have tabled an Early Day Motion, supported by the Ukraine Solidarity Campaign, calling for military equipment to be donated by the UK to Ukraine.

The call has been backed by trade unions in Ukraine, and by Labour’s sister party in Ukraine, the Social Democratic Platform.

This could make a major difference helping Ukraine win more quickly, with less suffering for the Ukrainian people. This equipment must be used for just purposes to help Ukraine, not sold off to reactionary states or auctioned to private arms dealers for profit.
