The team at Future Projects in the Marl Pit area of Norwich do outstanding outreach work in the local area and beyond through Future Support, Future Education and Future Radio.

I was lucky enough to help Future’s staff and volunteers pack Christmas hampers for this year. This initiative is to supply food and toy hampers to people, including those who are vulnerable or have been severely affected by the cost of living crisis.

Each hamper contained everything needed to get through the Christmas period, whether for a family, a couple or someone living alone.

There were a massive number of donations, and I was humbled by the generosity of local companies who gave so willingly to such a fantastic and essential service.

I’m also very grateful to everyone at Future Projects who do so much all year round to support and advocate for some of our most in-need fellow citizens.
