Today in Parliament, I emphasised the importance of the nurses bursary and how removing it has caused significant damage to our NHS.

By cutting the nursing bursary, the Government forced aspiring nurses out of the NHS. If we want a properly staffed NHS where nurses aren’t burdened with debt during and after training, we need to reintroduce the nursing bursary.
