Senior Caseworker
Location: Constituency office in Norwich
32 hours per week (0.8 Full Time Equivalent)
Salary: £28,311 – £40,381, pro rata
Permanent contract (with six-month probationary period)

You will manage a large and varied caseload of clients who want help with a range of complex and less complex issues. You will assess clients’ needs and liaise with personnel working at a range of levels in external organisations such as Government agencies, local authorities, the voluntary sector and others.

You will be responsible for our casework function’s outputs and will ‘triage’ all incoming requests for help to prioritise getting positive outcomes for constituents. As required, and with training, you will deputise for and assist with the responsibilities of other members of the constituency office team.

These are the essential requirements for this post.

Experience of working in a customer-facing role; meeting and assisting individuals from diverse backgrounds, prioritising a demanding workload on behalf of yourself and/or on behalf of a wider team or organisation and responding to complaints.

You will have excellent oral and written communication skills, can work well under pressure and within competing deadlines. You must be a hardworking, flexible team player with a positive attitude who is calm, determined, and capable of taking responsibility.
